
Kid's Click Curriculum
Monday June 6 8am to 6pm
Greetings, Get to know the other junior photographers, find out what kind of photographer they'd like to be, learn the different fields of work in the photography industry, the history of photography and cameras, receive their camera, introduction to all the camera buttons and settings, learn all of the accessories and their importance, camera safety, play photography games, scavenger hunts and challenges throughout the week.
Tuesday June 7 8am to 6pm
Students will learn how to operate their cameras and gain confidence shooting different styles, lighting, locations, and subjects. Students will learn photography concepts, style, and modes such as the rule of thirds and forced perspectives. They will learn the importance of lighting, props, and angles. Students will learn how to operate lighting equipment and background equipment in studio. Students will learn photography terminology and industry lingo such as manual, golden hour, aperture, ISO, and white balance and how all of these modes affect portraiture.
Wednesday June 8 8am to 6pm
Each student should arrive camera ready in their outfit of choice. Each child will get the chance to set up their own photoshoot in studio. They will choose their own background, lighting and props to photograph each other and create professional headshots. They will gain confidence in shooting their dslr in manual solo and be their own artistic director.
Thursday June 9 8am to 6pm
Field trip day! Arrive camera ready in student's outfit of choice. We will go to Stevenson park. Each student will get to photograph each other, our props, and nature to create their own online gallery. Family is welcome to join in on the photoshoots from 5-6pm. All students will be picked up from Stevenson park at 6pm.
Friday June 10 8am to 6pm
Students will learn how to edit and upload the photos they took in studio and on the field trip using presets, photoshop, and Lightroom software. Each student's gallery will be available to view by friends and family to make print and canvas purchases of the photos. The proceeds benefit Kid's Click Camp. Student's will receive their Junior Photographer Certificate.

A pro dslr canon camera, carrying bag, lens and accessories (included in your booking payment) Each child will get to keep their camera, lens and accessories after camp.
Each child will receive a photography workbook and photographer's badge.
Each child will have a chance to learn how to operate photography software, camera
equipment, lighting equipment, and background equipment in our home studio.
Each child will receive a Kid's Click completion certificate upon completion of camp
certifying them as a junior photographer.
