Meet Shannan, the founder and owner of Isla Ann Photography, named after the two women who shaped her journey: her talented photographer grandmother and her daughter, Isla, who inspired her to turn a lifelong passion into a dream career. Since 2013, She has been capturing everything from tiny newborn yawns to confident boudoir sessions, family milestones, headshots, and branding photography. With a degree in Digital Media Arts & Photography from Cornell University and a heart rooted in the Friendswood community, her mission is simple: create beautiful images while making every client feel seen, celebrated, and completely at ease.

As a photographer and valued member of our team for the past three years, she has a natural talent for capturing genuine moments while making every family feel comfortable and cared for throughout their session. Whether she's getting those sweet smiles, capturing the little in-between moments, or finding the perfect angle and light, MaryKate brings creativity, patience, and a calm presence to every session. She has a natural gift for connecting with families and making even the littlest ones feel at ease in front of the camera. Her kind personality and eye for beautiful, timeless images are such a special part of the experience our clients know and love. Meet Addysen, the newest friendly face behind the scenes at Isla Ann Photography! As our studio assistant, she helps keep things running smoothly while making sure every client feels welcome and comfortable from the moment they walk through the door. Currently studying Digital Media at UTSA, Addysen brings a creative eye and a fun, positive energy to the studio. Whether she's helping get little ones ready, fluffing dresses, fixing the tiniest details, or jumping in wherever she's needed, she's always ready with a smile and a helping hand. Addysen has a natural gift for making people feel at ease, and her kind, upbeat personality is such a wonderful addition to the experience our clients know and love. We're so excited to have her as part of the Isla Ann Photography family!
