Kid's Click Photography Camp

Service Description

Is your child between the ages of 6 to 12 and interested in photography? This camp is the perfect introduction to camera mechanics, techniques, and the photography business. The camp is $399 per child per week. 9am to 3pm Bring a snack, water bottle and packed lunch, we have a refrigerator. If your child would like to bring a camera we recommend a Canon Rebel T7 and a 55mm lens. Available to rent or buy at checkout if you would like to. Rental does include insurance. Camera not required for class. Children may bring and use their cell phones. Kid's Click Curriculum Monday Greetings, Get to know the photographers, learn the different fields of work in the photography industry, the history of photography and cameras, introduction to all the camera buttons and settings, learn all of the accessories and their importance, camera safety, play photography games, scavenger hunts and challenges throughout the week. Tuesday Students will learn how to operate their cameras and gain confidence shooting different styles, lighting, locations, and subjects. Students will learn photography concepts, style, and modes such as the rule of thirds and forced perspectives. They will learn the importance of lighting, props, and angles. Students will learn how to operate lighting equipment and background equipment in studio. Students will learn photography terminology and industry lingo such as manual, golden hour, aperture, ISO, and white balance and how all of these modes affect portraiture. Wednesday Each child will get the chance to set up their own photoshoot in studio. They will choose their own background, wardrobe, lighting and props to photograph each other and create professional headshots. They will gain confidence in shooting their dslr in manual solo and be their own artistic director. Thursday Field trip to the back of the property to take outdoor photos! Friday Students will learn how to edit and upload the photos they took in studio using presets, photoshop, and Lightroom software. Each student's gallery will be available to view by friends and family to make digital and print purchases.
